Feel like I was a little cheated because a couple months after I bought mine, they started offering hand-select and even refurbs! Entire rifle was encased in dirt and grime when I received it. No matching serials, about 20% original blue the blue chipped above the chamber in the ugliest way. I received a dou43 (not even on my preference list) in December 2020 and it really isn't in very good shape. These puppies are dirty! But it cleaned up well and I am happy. Rifling was discovered to be good once barrel was cleaned. No cleaning rod but included a sight hood. Still has a fair bit of blueing, stock has some dings and dents but nothing major. I am overall happy with the rifle, it is a 1943 dot. I picked one up when they went on sale a while back, I did not select any preferences. Contacted customer service (Alssia) and they are sending a return label and are replacing the rifle! Great customer service! I'll post a new review once I receive the new rifle.ġ of 1 people found the following review helpful:
